Padar Island

This is known based on observational data during monitoring such as data on the number of eggs, egg weight, diameter, type of nest, characteristics of the nest, and width of turtle tracks on the beach.
The Green Turtle is one of two types of turtles that live in the waters of the Komodo National Park. Apart from the Green Turtle, there is also the Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelys Imbricata).
Still according to the KSDAE, based on the results of monitoring activities on 11-17 June 2022, there are several potential coastlines at Padar Island that are home to turtles laying eggs.
Based on this analysis, the potential coastlines are the southern part of th island (Turtle Beach and Loh Tongkang Beach), the northern part of Padar (Tanjung Cangtigi), the eastern part of the island (Batu Ring Beach and Bukit Piramid Beach).
